Background
Born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, Jonathan received his Bachelors Degree in Bible and Youth Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating, Jonathan married his wife Sarah and became the High School Youth Pastor at Eastern Hills Bible Church located in Manlius, NY. Recently, Jonathan and Sarah are following God’s call to be church planters in Toledo, OH.
Jonathan’s desire is to see the body of Christ reaching out to their communities. Jesus was revolutionary because he was eating with sinners. He entered into the community as the incarnate God. Jonathan believes that the church has an awesome responsibility to enter into the community in an incarnational way. This will truly make the gospel effective. Life on Life ministry! Whether you are a pastor, an engineer, a teacher, a student, a nurse, God has a purpose for you, and he has placed you in a community for a purpose. We all need to live our life in a way that demands Gospel explanation.
Jonathan has a wide variety of ministry experience from working in the inner-city, rural towns, overseas missions, and upper-class suburbs. Plus he has a wide variety of teaching and speaking experience. He has taught in classrooms as well as 1000+ people during weekend events.
